Full Job Description

The University strategy sets out our mission to Transform Lives, ensuring our research programmes generate social, economic and cultural benefits and working with others to ensure those benefits are wide-reaching.

We are seeking a Project Manager in Research and Innovation Services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards achieving the University's ambitions and the delivery of our research strategy.

You will provide operational management and delivery for a high-profile Allied Health Professions Workforce Research Partnership. This is a five-year research project funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and led by Professor Julie Nightingale as the Partnership Director.

As a member of the Partnership Management Board and working closely with the Partnership Director you will be responsible for overall financial, contractual and operational project management to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget and that it complies with all relevant research and information governance regulations. You will work in collaboration with researchers and professional services staff based at three workforce hubs, assuring that disparate project activities are monitored and delivered in accordance with the project plan. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

The role will be based on our Collegiate Campus.
