Full Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in managing IT security projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering a project to build and commission a new Security Operations Centre (SOC). The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading internal project teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery., Project Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle managing security-related projects, including SOC providers, cyber security initiatives including implementation of PAM solutions.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to assess, plan and deploy solutions ensuring optimal performance and security.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project management team.


  • Project Controls and Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and maintain rigorous programme controls, encompassing risk assessments, change management, issue tracking, and quality assurance processes.

  • Continuously monitor programme progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Instil a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in programme delivery.

  • Demonstrate strong decision making in resolving problems, making decisions and identifying priorities.

  • Familiar with IT security standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.


  • Commercial Acumen:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.

  • Play a key role in optimising project costs and ensuring profitability without sacrificing quality.


  • Stakeholder Management and Communication:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including carriers, software vendors, and cross-functional teams.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.

  • Professionally resolve conflicts and concerns, fostering collaboration and trust.
