Full Job Description

In this role you will be acting as subject matter expert and lead on service and product implementation within the Plasma supply chain, and to be the Operational lead for projects involving operational activity.

Your responsibilities will include : Supporting and contributing to the development of strategy and improved service delivery.

Leading on the implementation of a range of programmes / changes, standardisation initiatives, new ways of working, introduction of new technology, service and product development and improved performance.

Providing advice on standards and specifications for systems, processes, consumables and equipment and providing operational expertise for evaluation, procurement processes and projects.

Developing expertise and be the primary point of contact for operational activity within the Plasma supply chain, supporting the operation in the maintenance of quality.

Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of practices, procurement, licensing, and regulatory requirements in all areas associated with manufacture, distribution, and use.

Deputising for Lead Specialist - Plasma as required.You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice

Essential

  • Degree PLUS postgraduate level or equivalent demonstrable experience to postgraduate level.

  • Demonstrates commitment to own continued professional development (CPD)

    Essential
  • Expert understanding of specialist area manufacturing, testing, hospital services, plasma etc.

  • Experience of working with quality standards in an environmental governed by a range of policies and legislation. With good knowledge of data protection.

  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice and Operational Improvement.
