Full Job Description

  • Responsible for managing on-site contractors
  • Development of health & safety safe systems of work to support delivery of construction works
  • Supporting risk management processes
  • Supporting in the development of sequencing and scheduling for the project
  • Development of communications and reporting documentation to wider stakeholders
  • Verification that quality standards have been met for constructions works, You will be joining a team of 11 responsible for the end-to-end process of delivery and modernisation of site and facilities across the site. You will have great exposure across the business liaising with the Safety, Engineering, Operations and Security teams working on multiple high-profile projects at a time. The team is relatively new, offering ample opportunities for growth and development. With ongoing projects and a stable workload, job security is a significant advantage. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

    Previous experience within a construction environment in a Project role (ie clerk of works)
  • Experience in construction planning and processes
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation including CDM regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Projects and PowerPoint
  • Desirable:
  • Construction Management qualifications
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and legislation
