Full Job Description

We have an opportunity within our Employer Skills Service and Staffordshire Jobs & Careers Service. As a Project Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in providing project plans and assisting in the effective management of programmes by monitoring and reporting on activities, timescales, budgets, and resources., In this role you will work within the broader Skills & Employability team, dedicated to improving lives through learning and training, leading to employment and personal fulfillment, while enjoying a great employment package with the flexibility of office and/or home working to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

You will:

  • Develop and manage project plans for the team's main functions.

  • Monitor and report on project activities, timescales, budgets, and resources.

  • Maintain change control systems and ensure effective programme and project delivery.

  • Establish quality control practices and standards, including project planning, risk analysis, and maintaining risk registers.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to relevant officers/boards for timely resolution.

    You will have:

  • Knowledge in project methods, planning processes, and change methods.

  • Experienced in programme and project planning, monitoring, and reporting techniques.

  • Skills in aggregating, analysing, and reporting information to provide a clear picture of project performance.

  • Ability to interpret numerical data quickly and effectively.

  • Awareness of economic and skills projects and activities.
