Full Job Description

The South West Neonatal Network is looking for a Project Support Officer to join their innovative regional team. The Network aims to improve the family experiences, clinical outcomes and quality standards within neonatal care, encouraging continuity and consistency across the region.

The successful post holder will be passionate about enhancing the experience of neonatal staff and families using neonatal services. They will be a core part of the ODN team, bringing their administrative and coordination skills together to support delivery of region wide programmes of work.

The Network has an office in Myrtle Road, Bristol. Home working is available. Travel across the South West will occasionally be required, to support delivery of educational events and workshops., The post holder will provide an array of services to support, monitor and report on project and programme activities.

They will build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and wider network stakeholders to ensure strong communication and mutual understanding.

This will include supporting with written reports and social media content, as well as the organisation of meetings and larger scale educational events and workshops pertinent to the project/programme.

A key priority for the post holder will be supporting the development of a regional neonatal nursing Qualified In Specialty programme that meets new national standards, as well as the varying needs of neonatal services in the region. Knowledge of neonatal education and of online education platforms is therefore desirable., children, young people and vulnerable adults.
