Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to join our dynamic team in London on a contract basis.

In this role, you'll support the Programme Manager (PgM) by handling project management tasks such as regular reporting, issuing core project documentation, and coordinating internal and external meetings. You'll also manage the RAID log, assist with internal and external interfaces, and provide essential PMO functions, including planning, resource management, financial oversight, governance and reporting. Additionally, you'll ensure efficient onboarding and off-boarding processes in collaboration with IT and security teams

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support Project & Programme Managers with Project, MI and highlight reporting

  • Provide comprehensive project support for financial management activities ensuring accurate monthly reporting by processing invoices and raising purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Develop and sustain effective working relationships with key stakeholders

  • Monitor inboxes to ensure they are managed effectively, distributing and raising key issues to the relevant Stakeholders within our Projects.

  • Operate many administrative processes, ensuring that these are delivered accurately on time and in line with defined procedures and standards.

  • Manage Project documentation and controls.

  • Support Project managers with project plans and tracking of actions, risks and issues in RAID

  • Arrange meetings and support taking minutes.

  • Assist with Resource Management.

  • Track and report on key project metrics as defined by the PMO.

  • Encourage knowledge and lessons transfer across the projects.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working and define best practices.

  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

    Experience in building strong relationships with an influencing nature, understanding the pressure of a fast-paced workng environment.

  • Experience with supporting the planning complex schedules of activities

  • Focused on delivering objectives and targets.

  • Exceptional organisational skills including managing multiple tasks to deadlines.

  • Experience of answering and dealing with queries.

  • Excellent customer service skills and good written and verbal communications.

  • Strong collaborator, to gain the involvement and engagement of a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and experience of managing multiple priorities within a busy environment.

  • Business fluent in English.
