Full Job Description
The key purpose of the role is to support the Head of Acquisition to deliver the appropriate volume and type of properties for AASC, to the required quality standards and at the lowest full-life cost. Also, to effectively manage a team and assist them with day to day duties.
- Manage a team of six Property Negotiators/Managers
- First line of contact for all day-to-day queries from the Property team; operations and existing landlord and investor network
- Manages the negotiations for lease agreements
- Undertake quality assurance on new properties, alongside Head of Acquisition
- Responsible for collating and developing weekly and monthly reporting
- Regular review of pipeline to monitor appropriate allocation; volumes and timescales and to deal with and/or escalate potential issues as they arise
- Attend external stakeholder meetings as required
- Deputise for the Head of Acquisition as and when required
- Continuous development of opportunities for new property streams through landlords, agents and developers
Are you an experienced and motivated Property or Lettings Manager? Has your role become too transactional? Is it lacking purpose and a sense of really making a difference?, Detailed understanding of the Lettings market and current legislation - Understanding of HMO's and the associated compliance
- Proficiency in reporting - using Excel, Word and Power Point
- Experience managing a team and being a leader
- Desire to help people less fortunate
- Full UK driving licence
- Ambitious, tenacious and a real problem solver
