Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Property Compliance & Inspections Officer to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our PRS portfolio is safe, well-maintained, and fully compliant with legal and council requirements. This is a key position supporting our Works and Compliance Manager in maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and property upkeep.,

  • Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs and compliance with council licensing.
  • Provide detailed site survey reports for void rental units, highlighting necessary works.
  • Inspect reported maintenance issues and coordinate with the maintenance team to arrange appropriate contractors and works orders.
  • Perform periodic checks to ensure ongoing property conditions meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours emergency rota, providing clients with 24/7 support.

    At least 3 years experience in lettings or property maintenance, with a strong understanding of private sector housing legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence is mandatory (company car provided).
  • Knowledge of property maintenance, H&S regulations, and council licensing requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with tenants, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload independently and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Word, Excel, and property-based software (MRI Evolution experience desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence (company car provided).
  • Qualifications:
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
  • ARLA qualification desirable but not essential.
