Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Property team as a Property Coordinator in our Birmingham offices. As a Property Coordinator at SCC, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in supporting the day-to-day operations of our facilities. You will also work towards a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative qualification.,

  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance (e.g. Fire, Water, HVAC) by liaising with appointed contractors and external parties.

  • Ensure control of contractors, sub-contractors, and job registration.

  • To take ownership of the PPM schedule & Reactive Maintenance jobs thus ensuring that all tasks are completed in line with the service requirements.

  • Arrange for engineers to attend breakdowns, find fault and repair

  • Reporting and record keeping of all breakdown or site attendance by maintenance engineers

  • Oversee general property and facilities maintenance across all sites.

  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and professional working environment across all sites..

  • Complete audit & compliance checks, highlighting and addressing any failures or poor practice concerns.

  • To work with the H&S to maintain high standards of Health, Safety, and ensure SCC properties by confirming sites are legislatively compliant, safe and are kept maintained.

  • Reviewing/maintaining/completing health and safety documentation/action trackers and management systems.

  • Check and maintain site safety records and related statutory, regulatory, legal and industry certification to maintain compliance with all company Policies.

  • Assign and log calls on Service Now (in house program).

  • Review incoming works before allocating work orders/purchase orders to directly employed maintenance team and/or the approved supply chain.

  • To annually cleanse and refresh the electronic asset register.

  • To update and maintain in house SharePoint site with new information/files.

  • Placing orders with contractors and suppliers.

  • Review and publish completed job reports.

    Basic knowledge of facilities management or similar field is preferred. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and tools.

  • A proactive and driven individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace new challenges. Willing to work flexible hours when required.

  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

  • Detail-oriented with critical thinking ability to identify and propose solutions to operational issues.

    Salary Package: £22,308 plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year

  • Hours: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday - Friday. We also offer the opportunity to benefit from a Core Hours arrangement (role-specific), providing flexibility around your personal needs
