Full Job Description

Oversee and head a team of 3 property managers (including the team leader)

- Coordinate and delegate tasks to team members as well as undertake a share of the team's away from office duties, including inventories, inspections, and check-outs

- Ensure efficient and effective operation of the property management office

- liaise with contractors, landlords and tenants to ensure the best possible outcome

- Handle administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record keeping

- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and owners

- Maintain a professional and organized office environment

- Train and mentor team members to improve performance

- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints

- Liaise with Private Sector Housing teams on local councils

- Resolve tenancy deposit issues

  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE LETTINGS INDUSTRY AS A PROPERTY MANAGER ESSENTIAL

The company has grown continuously through word of mouth and reputation 16 years of operation. This post will be with our Kettering office which has one of the largest managed portfolios in the Kettering area. We are looking for a team player with experience in property management., Previous experience in private residential lettings
    - Previous experience in property management
    - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
    - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    - Proficient in data entry and other administrative tasks
    - Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices
    - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    - Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally

    The post requires a candidate with a full clean driving licence ( though an applicant with 3 points on their licence may be considered). There is a pool car for the maintenance team but the applicant will eed to have their own car and be prepared to use it during their employment (mileage payment will apply).,
