Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Prostate Pathway Coordinator / Tracker, to provide comprehensive administration support working alongside the Urology Specialist Team based at Ysbyty Gwynedd by supporting the team in progressing the pathway for all patients suspected of having Prostate Cancer., To communicate with clinical and non clinical members of the health care team for the benefit of patient care, arranging appointments or referrals onto others within or outside of the organisation.

To ensure that the progress of the patient through the pathway is prospectively and proactively managed any concerns relating to waiting times and treatment schedules communicated to the relevant staff or clinical service.

Identify patients that require a clinical decision and uses judgement to ensure this decision is timely in relation to the individual diagnostic.
