Full Job Description

Job Title: PSD Investigator - HC618948

Location: Mottisfont Court, Winchester

Salary: SO1, £33,915 - £35,982 per annum (£20,165 - £21,394 pro rata)

Post holder will be in receipt of Essential User allowance.

Hours: 2 posts at 37 hours and 1 post at 22 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Closing date: Sunday 10th November 2024 at 23.59 hours

Are you are interested in ensuring that the public have confidence in the integrity of the people working for Hampshire and IOW Constabulary?

If so we are looking for 3 people to join our team which maintains the Standards of Professional Behaviour within Force by conducting investigations into public complaints, misconduct, death or serious injury investigations as well as police perpetrated crime.

The successful post holders will work a shift pattern of day shifts with one in 8 duty weekends.

Essential Qualifications

Educated to QCF Level
3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.

Driving license holder and access to own vehicle (post holder will be in receipt of Essential User allowance.)

Essential Experience

Evidence of at least one years work experience in conducting investigations and presenting the findings of those investigations.

Knowledge and understanding of criminal law and the Criminal Justice System.
