About the role

-Vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing and repairs including MOT preps in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures

-To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies

-To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.

-Maintain and develop technical skills as required.

-Based at our Taunton Depot, working 5 days on 2 days off shifts.

-We are in the process of taking in 25 electric buses to our Somerset operation, training will provided to see you become an EV Technician with IMI accreditation.

We'll provide your overalls (PPE) needed to do your job successfully.

Hourly Rate: £16.01 + £21.04 Daily Shift Premium for all shifts worked.

39 Hours Per Week

Working Shift Patterns: Sunday-Wednesday 05:00-13:00 Thursday 05:00-12:00

Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1&2) qualification?

-Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?

-An aptitude to develop others within the Engineering Team

-A PCV licence is desirable or show a willingness to obtain PCV licence is essential as we will help you obtain your PCV.

-Experience of working with buses & coaches and HGV's would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
