Full Job Description

We asked the children and young people we support here why the Therapist role is so important to them and heres what they said: My therapist at school is really nice and kind and makes me feel happy. We all have a therapist who we see once a week. My therapist talks to me about my emotions, and they understand me. I feel like I can talk to them about how I am feeling. Being a caring person is the most important characteristic needed in a therapist at our school. They should be a friendly face for the students and the teachers. Youll be joining our team based at Belton and our primary model is informed by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy which means all our clinicians will have the opportunity to apply for training in level 1 and 2 DDP. We are a vibrant and enthusiastic therapy department, and your role will be to manage a clinical caseload, provide individual and group interventions, co-facilitate staff reflective practice sessions, deliver training and provide supervision.
