Description Job Title: Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Hours: 37.5 hours per week, part-time considered Contract: 12 month fixed term, with possibility of extension Salary: £29,970 per annum to £36,483 (Band 5 equivalent) per annum, dependent on experience Location: Fully remote, working across all MHM Talking Therapy services in accordance with business need Service opening hours: 8am and 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am- 5pm Fridays About us Mental Health Matters (MHM) is a national charity with over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality mental health and social care services. About the role You will provide high volume low intensity interventions, which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions, to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. You will receive excellent support in your role, including extensive clinical and caseload supervision. What we offer At MHM we offer Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) high quality supervision and opportunities for continual professional development. PWP's are supported to become proficient in psychological assessments, delivering a range of low-intensity psychological treatments for anxiety disorders and depression - psychoeducation, behavioural activation, medication management, problem solving and guided self-help. We offer exciting opportunities for qualified PWPs such as specialising in areas and topics and the opportunity to become a Staff Champion with allocated time each

month to develop your role. Examples of current Staff Champion roles include a Perinatal Staff Champion and an Autism Staff Champion. Qualified PWPs also have the opportunity to expand their skill set and mentor trainees to help trainees learn the role. You will go through our comprehensive, in-person training program in your first week of employment which will give you the tools you need to succeed in the role, as well as offering a great opportunity to get to know your new colleagues.
