Full Job Description

We are recruiting for qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join the East Sussex NHS Talking Therapies service who have a desire to make a difference and want to further their knowledge, skill and experience in a supportive and progressive environment., Health in Mind is a large primary care mental health service that serves the people of East Sussex, with the exception of Brighton and Hove. You will be working within a defined geographical area (to be determined upon appointment), delivering telephone or Online video appointments as well as some face to face appointments where needed, although flexibility in appointment types can be discussed at interview.

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners offer a range of interventions 1:1 and in groups as well as being involved in clinical triage of new referrals into the service.

The client's experience of our service is very important to us. We work towards supporting clients in their recovery by offering evidence-based therapy with therapists who receive regular and supportive supervision and regular CPD. We promote service user involvement. Health in Mind has a Service User Steering Group which provides valuable input to our service design and delivery. We care about our staff. We have a staff-wellbeing-champions team, and are committed to staff engagement. We know that for our clinicians to do a good job they need to feel supported. There is opportunity for varied and flexible working patterns and home working and working hours can be discussed in the interview. We are keen for our clinicians to grow. We aim to offer staff individual appraisals with the opportunity to become involved in a range of activities, such as group-based interventions, teaching, supervision and service development
