Full Job Description

The postholder will provide professional leadership and management for Psychology to secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. The core focus of the role is to enable progress and achievement for all, within an atmosphere in which students feel challenged, valued and secure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Psychology Curriculum Design and Delivery Leadership. Classroom delivery to Psychology classes. Line management and development of Psychology Teaching Staff. Subject leadership of student behaviour and culture within the Humanities curriculum area.

    Is a skilled, versatile and hardworking Psychology Subject Leader with a passion for delivering an excellent Psychology provision to students across Years 12 and 13.
  • Consistently models excellent practice and has students' academic progress and personal development at the core of their professional motivation
