Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a part-time psychosexual therapist in the Psychosexual Service at Kings College Hospital. The service is based in the Department of Sexual Health and HIV at King's College Hospital, London., A key aspect of the role will be the assessment and provision of ongoing psychosexual or psychological therapy to the individual or couple. Clients present with range of issues including, but not limited to, problems with sex and intimacy, adjustment reactions to an HIV diagnosis, sexual assault, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, loss of libido, orgasmic dysfunction, vaginismus and vulvodynia.

The therapist is required to manage a caseload of clients, to refer on to other specialist disciplines as required and to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

There is the opportunity to be flexible regarding the part-time hours worked.
