Full Job Description
Leading the Therapies and Wellbeing Team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a positive and productive team environment
Providing psychotherapeutic interventions across all levels of care
Facilitating group therapies and one-on-one sessions
Offering consultation and advice on psychological care to the multidisciplinary team
Building strong internal and external relationships with professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
As a Lead member of the integrated care team, you will work closely with our clinical and nursing teams to deliver holistic, family-centred care. We are committed to supporting your professional growth through our education and training programs, ensuring you can develop your skills in paediatric palliative care within a supportive learning environment.
This role is based at our beautiful woodland hospice in Woodford Green, which offers free parking and easy access from the Central line.

We are seeking a Lead Psychotherapist (Band 8a) to join our growing and dynamic team at Haven House. As demand for our outstanding care continues to rise, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering psychological support to children, young people, and families during some of their most difficult moments.
In this role, you will provide leadership to the Therapies and Wellbeing Team as well as individual, family therapy and facilitate group therapy sessions. You will also offer expert consultation and advice on psychological care to colleagues and carers, helping to shape holistic, integrated care for the children and families we serve.

Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: (Band 8a) £47,592 per annum inclusive of Outer London High cost area supplement
