Full Job Description

Would you like to help us shape Islington's environment to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents?, We are looking for a new Assistant Strategist to help us deliver healthier environments in the borough. The role will include work on healthy weight, food, physical activity and the built environment.
In this varied role you will be undertaking a wide range of tasks, including:

  • managing contracts for important public health services

  • reviewing best practice literature

  • delivering evidence-based projects

  • helping to deliver our department's strategic objectives, You will need collaborate closely with colleagues within and beyond the council to deliver improvements to the health and wellbeing of our residents.

    Do you have a qualification in public health? Are you passionate about improving health and wellbeing and tackling inequalities?

    In this role, you will be working as part of a well-established and high performing inner London public health team. We support all our staff in their ongoing professional development.
