Public Health Nurse - Health Visitor

The successful candidate will deliver evidence-based healthcare, maintaining a high standard of professional practice. Lead and deliver the Healthy Child Programme, within a multi-agency team setting.

Being responsible for the identification, assessment, and management of health care needs of individuals, families, groups, and communities within a defined caseload, and for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care within a range of targeted groups and providing delegated management responsibility to the Healthy Child Programme Practitioners and Healthy Child Programme Nurses.Mentor pre and post registration students, and new members of staff as required, and support induction programmes.

If you already hold a lease car through another NHS employer you may be able to transfer the vehicle to LPT., working patterns in line with our flexible working policy. You will need to be comfortable with change and flexible in your approach. Good IT skills will be essential. You must have a current NMC registration in any branch of nursing and a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) Health Visitor registration.
