The job role
At part of the Communities, Leisure and Health team, Rochford District Council are looking for a Public Health Practitioner Officer to contribute to Public Health and Wellbeing improvements for Rochford District residents through embedding principles of public health within organisations using relevant data analysis to inform policy, strategy and identify priorities that will inform service delivery.
The post will also be responsible for the development and implementation of public health and wellbeing related projects.
There is a shared Rochford and Castlepoint Health and Wellbeing Board so there will a requirement to work jointly with colleagues in the development of a joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy as part of the locality Health and Wellbeing Board.
