Full Job Description

You will be working alongside a busy, dedicated Affordable Warmth team. You will work with colleagues to check, process and pay invoices, oversee the monitoring and management of contractors, onboarding new contractors, inputting into associated databases and any other tasks as required by the Energy Efficiency and Affordable Warmth Officer.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Public Health Project Officer to join our team. The role offers hybrid working, working partly form home and partly in the office (all technology will be provided). The successful candidate will require a flexible approach to this way of working., This is a fast-paced position, attention to detail is key and the successful candidate needs to be able to pick up systems and processes quickly.

If you are self-motivated, organised, have an attention for detail and able to work in a busy and varied environment; working to deadlines, then this is the job for you!

We are a welcoming team in Blackpool and this post will be supported by a number of individuals who work on the Policy and Strategy elements of the Affordable Warmth agenda.

About You

The post requires strong administration experience, organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines.

You should be computer literate and be confident in working with standard office IT applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will be expected to learn how to navigate in-house ICT systems to work with data and information; and use other applications to support service delivery virtually.
