Are you a qualified Nurse with recent experience within a comparable role?

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust highly values the contribution that the CYP Public Health Service 0 - 19 makes to improving outcomes for children, young people and their families, using evidence-based, early intervention strategies

As a Public Health Staff Nurse 0 - 19, you will participate in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and will work in partnership with children, young people and families, the Local Authority, Early Intervention Services, Local Authority Children's Services, Early Years Providers, Schools and Education Establishments, and other services. You will be required to work closely with other members of the CYP Public Health Service 0 - 19, to provide services in response to identified needs, including safeguarding and supporting children, young people and families., We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated Public Health Staff Nurses 0 - 19 focusing on the 5 - 19yrs caseload, to join our West Dorset Team, these are fixed term year-round posts of 22.5 hours per week. The core team hours are 0830 - 1630 (and no weekend working). Initially the posts will be based between Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme (Bridport Medical Centre)., To provide a high quality person centred approach to care delivery whichalways considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.

To undertake assessment of patients / service users care needs and develop programmes of care as part of the wider multidisciplinary care team.

To provide advice to patients/ service users and carers regarding their care.

To plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.

Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical support to students and junior staff in the team
