Full Job Description

We have two exciting opportunities for citizen focused people to join us as a Public Participation officers for 12 months.

As part of the Public Participation Team you will be part of a team passionate about engaging citizens. We are currently leading on corporate engagement activities which include face-to-face attendance to service change consultation events, engagement on corporate strategy as well as running online meetings with community contacts.

This is in addition to reinforcing the principals in all areas of council activity which are included in our Vision and Approach to Public Participation.

You will need to be able to work as part of a team and on your own, using your own initiative to provide advice, guidance and tools to enable citizen involvement at its highest level through to enabling engagement with citizens at the front door to many services.
