Full Job Description

The Public Rights of Way Operations Team is seeking an enthusiastic professional to contribute to the management of our Public Rights of Way network.

This is an interesting and varied post. No two days are the same and the role would suit someone who enjoys a mix of outdoor, desk based and practical work while working with a variety of different people.

This is a key role within the team and has a wide variety of responsibilities, including managing recreational routes such as the Worcestershire Way and coordinating our volunteer schemes.

You will carry out inspections of public rights of way, often in response to problems reported by the public, and draw up schedules of work to be carried out by contractors. You will also work with and manage our voluntary path warden scheme, including leading training courses and providing written guidance.

As well as a good understanding of Public Rights of Way management the post requires you to effectively manage a busy workload, work to deadlines, and have very good communication skills.

We are an established team of dedicated, friendly and supportive staff, and we are very proud of the work we do.

Hybrid and mobile working arrangements. Based in Worcester but regular travel throughout the County is required.
