Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and proactive Pupil and Pastoral Manager who will be responsible for maintaining an overview of behaviour, safeguarding and pupil welfare and developing appropriate interventions and support. You will act as the first point of contact in investigating and resolving any pastoral issues, in line with the School's focus on Character Education. The position is term time plus 2 weeks (negotiable). The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working with families and external agencies to support young people and developing relevant interventions. The role will require considerable skills in liaising sensitively with parents/carers, pupils, teachers, external agencies and other stakeholders, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships a key to the success of the role. A caring and compassionate nature, with the ability to be resilient and calm under pressure are essential. You will be joining a team of highly skilled and committed professionals who are relentless in the pursuit of pastoral excellence, and we will expect you to be an outstanding role model committed to the distinctive ethos of our School.
