Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a part-time Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 on focussed individual learning and support within class. The role will start as soon as possible.
An exciting opportunity for a part time 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work in our wonderful, nurturing independent school. Do you have experience as a TA or 1:1 support in KS1 or KS2? Do you have enthusiasm, and energy to work as part of our supportive and friendly team in an inspiring school environment?,
- Is an enthusiastic and dynamic member of our team
- Has experience of working with pupils who have additional needs (although not essential)
- Preferably has experience of supporting pupils in the classroom, under the direction of the class teacher
- Has excellent & positive behaviour management skills
- Has the ability to work as part of a team under the direction of a teacher as well as being able to show initiative
- Has a working knowledge of phonics, spelling, grammar, punctuation, maths and comprehension for KS2 children as well as an understanding of ways to support learners
- Can show a commitment to developing good relationships with; children, staff at the school, parents and outside agencies
- Has high expectations and is friendly, hardworking and supportive and above all flexible!
