Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a real difference to the lives of residents and communities across Wales. As our Purchase Ledger Officer you will play a key role in the Treasury and Payments team.,

  • Process all invoices in line with the agreed payment calendar. Ensuring the correct level of authorisation is sort.
  • Prepare payment runs for the Association by BACS by undertaking the import of all approved invoices and in accordance with the agreed timetable.
  • Investigating queries from external suppliers relating to unpaid invoices, liaising with other departments and the supplier
  • Producing ad hoc reports as directed by the Lead Purchase Ledger Officer.
  • Providing system support where necessary to Treasury and Payments team when required.

    To succeed in this role, you will have a genuine passion and interest in what we do as an organisation. You will have knowledge of accounting systems and the ability to communicate with all levels of financial and non-financial staff. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a finance department.
