Full Job Description

As our Purchase Planning Administrator will ensure full availability of inventory to meet customer orders and forecast requirements in accordance with ASSA ABLOY UK Inventory KPI's. A key part of the role will be to analyse the bills of material, forecast, customer orders and any associated information to help maximise the service to customer base. You would also:

  • Raise Purchase Orders in respect of customer orders, forecast and MRP.
  • Communicate with customer services in respect of stock availability to meet customer orders.
  • Identify any planning related issues associated with the raising of MRP generated demand.
  • Support production planners as and when required.
  • Ensuring Purchase Orders are shipped on time from suppliers and maintain Purchase Order data in line supplier feedback

    Has previous experience with ERP systems, Microsoft AX, basic forecasting and stock management priniciples; MRP and Supply Chain - Sea freight/air/road.
  • Is a strong communicator and has strong Interpersonal Skills.
  • Has excellent problem Solving skills and is always looking for continuous Improvement
  • Has strong planning and Organisation skills.
  • Has strong attention to detail and analytical.
