Full Job Description

sales and purchasing co-ordinator to manage both the purchase of inventory from China, and the onwards sales orders to our customers within the UK. The ideal applicant will have a thorough grasp of Chinese manufacturing, London based with our National Sales Operations Manager to ensure supply of Tsingtao in the UK market. This role is an integral part of the sales department, working with our local and national sales team to nurture business partnerships and drive growth in the Tsingtao brand. You will be responsible for importing of our product from China, and first point of contact for trade order processing and 3PL stock management. You will also provide support to the Account Managers in the Sales team and support the wider Sales Operations team with administrative tasks. You will use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to dispatch orders and keep general data entry. You will be the first point of contact for all inbound enquiries and ensure communication within the team at all times. You will provide desk-based troubleshooting and assistance relating to customer orders, account statuses and ad hoc issues as they arise. You will build relationships with our wholesale partners to support the development and growth of Tsingtao with their customers, and work to uncover opportunities to drive further growth. You will also be responsible for ensuring we always have adequate stock on hand, including managing the purchasing process and any associated import paperwork. Responsibilities include : Ensure the Sales Operations team provides a world class customer service by following our Best Practice guidelines Support the National Sales Operations team by reviewing and updating SOPs as and when needed, and play a part in ensuring processes are followed by other team members Assist with weekly team meeting presentation and support in general communication with the 3PL warehouse in the UK ad the manufacturer in China Log any Sales Ops DIFOT, order delays and / or delivery DIFOTs using our KPI trackers Main point of contact for Purchasing of stock from our Chinese partner and for coordinating deliveries into the UK Main point of contact for our 3PL warehouse for order processing, stock management and booking enquiries Provide support in ordering Point Of Sale items from our Chinese partner and for coordinating deliveries into the UK Provide reports for the Sales Account Managers on stock availability for both packaged and Point of Sale items Assist the National Sales Operations team in reviewing Packaged Stock variances reported by the warehouses (stock control) Use CRM systems in conjunction with Excel to analyse customer data, provide sales trending to the wider team, and review forecasts Use CRM systems to process customer data, create new products, generate reports, manage stock takes and process orders Use our CRM to log and report Quality Cases raised by Off-Trade / Wholesale / Export customers and work with the National Sales Operations Manager to deliver a customer report once cases are investigated Assist the Accounts Receivables department by chasing payments for wholesale and supermarket customers, raising invoices and keeping track of PODs, also ensuring Account Managers are engaged in conversations with any customers on hold

The key skills and qualities needed to succeed in this role are : Ideally have 2+ years experience in a sales operations team, with experience in importing from China Excellent communication and organisational skills An ability to communicate in Mandarin would be advantageous Strong attention to detail Can-do attitude to problem solving Proficient in IT, EDI Electronic Data Interchange), CRM and MS packages be technology savvy Demonstrate the ability to multi-task operate in a startup setting Knowledge of Chinese manufacturing, as well as UK / EU compliance, is essential Understanding of stock management and order processing Knowledge of supply chain and logistical functions

  • Salary £28,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience
