QA Laboratory Technician

As a QA Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our aseptic compounding unit. Your primary responsibilities will involve participating in our environmental monitoring program and performing microbiological identification of contaminants.,

• Conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring using various techniques to ensure a sterile environment.
• Quantify microbiological isolates and perform Gram staining and other identification tests.
• Conduct fertility testing on process simulations to ensure product quality.
• Oversee the temperature monitoring of storage areas.
• Maintain accurate records of QA activities and perform data entry for trending environmental monitoring data.
• Perform routine cleaning and QA documentation checks.
• Participate in training and key task assessments as needed.
• Assist with other projects and tasks as required by the QA Laboratory Manager.
  
  Essential:
+ GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science or equivalent + BSc in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Microbiology + Experience working in a microbiology laboratory + Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills + Ability to focus and meet tight deadlines
• Desirable:
+ Experience in a GMP environment + Experience in aseptic manufacture
