Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process for our software development life cycle. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust testing strategies, mentoring QA team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of quality assurance practices, and a passion for continuous improvement.,

  • Test Strategy Development: Design, implement, and manage effective testing strategies and plans for projects to ensure software quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scripts, including manual and automated testing efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and project management teams to understand requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring timely fixes and revalidation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in existing QA processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on key quality metrics and testing progress to stakeholders.
  • Tools and Automation: Leverage and recommend tools for automation, performance testing, and defect tracking, ensuring the QA process stays current with industry standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure software quality complies with industry regulations and organizational standards.

    Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a QA leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (eg, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, etc.).
  • Proficiency in test management tools (eg, JIRA, TestRail).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in testing APIs and databases.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
