Full Job Description

Job Description The Quality Assurance role will ensure all software is thoroughly tested through identifying software defects and risks and fulfils the requirements of the test cases to ensure high quality product releases. This role will be primarily within the Cloud Services space and in the Reference Architecture team under the Accounting Business Unit. The candidate will work on cloud services which go across all Reference Architecture products in the Accounting space (Individual/ACaaS/Active etc). Experience in Cloud Services with a working knowledge of Amazon Web Services is essential. Ability to collaborate across cloud services and business units is essential. This role encompases the entire test cycle from test planning to User Acceptance Testing.
Key Responsibilities Compiles all test cases, test scenarios and test plans in accordance to the approved functional/design specification.
Conducts testing and follows testing procedures according to the established test plans.
Attends meetings daily ensuring knowledge of system changes and updates are maintained, provides progress on fixes and addresses roadblocks etc.
Communicates openly and effectively across and within the engineering teams, in order to resolve quality issues and contribute towards the quality strategy of the Company.
Liaises with the various Sage Test leads to co-ordinate the successful completion of integration testing and UAT.
Coach and mentor others by using one's own experience and knowledge to assist and provide recommendations for junior/less experienced team member.
