Full Job Description

Applications are invited for a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology fellow to join the existing team of 8 MSK Radiology Consultants and 89 Consultant Radiologists in post across UHB, commencing September 2025 for 12 months. The postholder will have close working relationships with the whole Radiology team including Consultants, Radiographic and associated support staff and also relevant specialties.

c.Demonstrates excellence in patient quality care.

d.To cover for radiologists as required during time of leave in order to maintain a good service.

Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

a.The post holder must be willing to join an established collaborative department which involves working closely with relevant clinical specialities to provide a comprehensive and cohesive service.

b.Contribute to the design and implementation of imaging service by applying the latest evidence and delivering reasoned proposals.

c.Have good radiology report writing skills and be able to communicate effectively with clinical colleagues. Develop and maintain effective networks in the region to enable best practice to be identified and implemented by the Trust.

d.The post holder must have well-developed listening and communication skills and be able to deal effectively with a wide range of clinicians, managers and professionals both within and outside the Trust.

Planning and organising:

a.Be willing to be involved with and implement a comprehensive MSK imaging service including multiple modalities.

b.Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement.

c.Effectively plan, communicate and execute changes ensuring engagement and involvement.
