Are you ready to make a difference in your community? Tameside Council is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor/Supervisor to join our dedicated team. Based at Tame Street Depot Stalybridge, we have an opportunity available to support the Environmental Services Manager and Contract Managers by providing appropriate Quantity Surveying and Supervisory input on maintenance and new projects. You will manage and oversee cost control for a variety of street lighting, construction, and maintenance projects. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Work collaboratively with contractors and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes and supervise works to maintain compliance with health, safety and the environment along with quality standards.

You should have a proven background in quantity surveying and construction supervision and possess strong organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be a flexible team player and must be able to work at pace with attention to detail.
