Full Job Description

  • Engine core functionality and client solutions for LSEG hosted market data platforms.
  • Develop configurations, automation and deliver monitoring of the RTMDS infrastructure.
  • Consult with both internal teams and customers.
  • Developing solutions for service intelligence from requirements to live and beyond. Ensure on going compliance to LSEG standards and process.
  • Delivery with excellence, reliability, sustainable and predictability.
  • To achieve success the candidate will need to show commitment, drive, accountability, creativity and work well in a team.
    • WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Developing a private cloud hosting many hundreds of customers who historically led their own market data networks who will be both knowledgeable and expecting excellent service.
  • Working with team members to monitor new functionality developed in Engineering.
  • You'll be involved in the platform management ensuring compliance to company standards and within vendor supported criteria.
  • Maintaining XML, YAML and JSON based configuration to handle deployments.
  • Working with development teams and engineering teams to produce complex automation to deliver mass infrastructure.
  • Working core development teams to deliver functionality and resolve issues with LSEG products.
  • Work with QE teams to perform robust releases and maintain CI pipelines into production.
  • Evolving hardware, Operating system and application observability.
  • Ensuring monitoring is in place enabling support teams to operate the infrastructure with tools like BigPanda, ITRS and ServiceNow.
  • Consult with core architect to achieve strategic designs and directives.
  • Work with Support teams to resolve monitoring blind spots and develop IA solution to alert and resolve issues.

    Must have a knowledge of Market data in the financial sector and experience at delivering solutions. Expert knowledge of developing and implementing ITRS monitoring solutions. Domain authority on LSEG products such as RTDS ADH, ADS, DACS and ATS. Experience of networks and server hardware. In depth knowledge of RHEL and strong shell scripting skills.
  • Experience of an automation and Workflow tools such as Service Now and Jira. Development tools such as Git, DX1 and Python.
  • Nice to have experience of Datadog, BigPanda and ServiceNow. Development tools Python and Ansible.
  • Should be inclusive, a great teammate and owner of delivery. You will need to be a leader to delivery teams, operations and our partners.
