Qualified Level 2 & 3 Nursery Practitioner

We are looking for a Level 2 & Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an outstanding nursery located in Sydenham.
Main Duties:
+ Plan, organize and execute a wide variety of activities for the children that are suitable to their individual stages of development
+ Ensure that child records are accurate, well-written and up-to-date, including learning plans, reports, observations, accident/incident forms etc
+ Build relationships and functioning partnerships with the parents
+ Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history
+ Ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This includes changing nappies and toilet training
+ Assist with serving and washing up the children s lunches & snacks

+ Level 3 qualification recognised by the DfE for counting in the early years foundation stage framework staff:child ratios
+ A clear understanding of how children develop
+ A clear understanding of the ways children enjoy learning
+ A good knowledge of the EYFS
+ Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible
+ A can-do attitude
+ Strong communicator with both children and adults
+ Reports to the nursery manager, or in their absence the deputy manager or most senior practitioner on site
+ Enhanced DBS background check & 2 references required before employment commences
