Plan, organize and execute a wide variety of activities for the children that are suitable to their individual stages of development
Ensure that child records are accurate, well-written and up-to-date, including learning plans, reports, observations, accident/incident forms etc
Build relationships and functioning partnerships with the parents
Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history
Ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This includes changing nappies and toilet training
Assist with serving and washing up the children s lunches & snacks

Level 3 qualification recognised by the DfE for counting in the early years foundation stage framework staff:child ratios
A clear understanding of how children develop
A clear understanding of the ways children enjoy learning
A good knowledge of the EYFS
Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible
A can-do attitude
Strong communicator with both children and adults
Reports to the nursery manager, or in their absence the deputy manager or most senior practitioner on site
Enhanced DBS background check & 2 references required before employment commences
