Full Job Description
The post is currently 37 hours but there may be some flexibility either way regarding total hours.
The successful candidate will have recent experience working in Adult Social Care. We provide support to adults with learning disabilities, adults with physical disabilities and older people. This post will provide an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker to develop their skills and knowledge and join a friendly and supportive team. Ideally the applicant will be two years post qualified however we will consider Newly Qualified Social Workers and social work students in their final year of study. We are able to support you through your Assessed Year in Supported Employment through Shropshire's fantastic programme We offer an excellent programme of professional development, supervision and training and welcome applications from newly qualified Social Workers. We are seeking to recruit a well-motivated and creative practitioner who is able to develop the strengths of individuals and maximise their independence utilising community resources and is an excellent team player.
