Qualified Supervisor

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICEIC Qualified Supervisor to oversee our EV fleet projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility/ preconstruction on-site surveys as well as fulfilling NICEIC Qualified Supervisor duties including monitoring and maintaining the technical and safety standards of electricians and subcontractors working on our sites., · Conduct comprehensive surveys across our clients' sites to assess feasibility and project requirements for new EV charging infrastructure.

· Supervise and monitor the work of electricians and subcontractors to ensure adherence to technical and safety standards.

· Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure high-quality workmanship standards and safety protocols are maintained.

· Provide technical guidance and support the team, ensuring all work meets NICEIC and company standards.

· Assist with your teams Continuous Professional Development (CPD), maintaining accurate records and documentation.

· Validate and sign off Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC's), and other relevant documentation. Ensuring it is passed on to the relevant people in a timely manner.

· Liaise with the Technical and Compliance team regularly, ensuring efficient supervision of all current projects and sites.

· Liaise with and assist the other Qualified Supervisors and their teams during busy periods and times of absence.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation of all audits, inspections, surveys, and project progress.

· Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices in the EV sector.

· NICEIC Qualified Supervisor Required Certification:

- Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services - Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) (City & Guilds 2356 or equivalent).

- AM2 - assessment of competence.

- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018.

- Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent).

- 2 years responsibility of own electrical work as a fully qualified electrician.

· Proven experience in the industry; electrical installation, test & inspection, and fault finding. Experience of working with EV chargers is advantageous.

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and industry regulations.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.

· Previous experience working as a NICEIC qualified supervisor would be advantageous.
