Qualified Teacher of the Deaf

Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (Inner London) + SEN Points (depending on qualification)

About the Role

Lister Community School is seeking to appoint a Qualified Teacher of the deaf (or skilled teachers/SENCO's willing to train towards completing the Mandatory Qualification in Deaf Education) as part of our teaching team working with deaf students within our specialist Deaf Support Department.

As part of our Deaf Support team, we are seeking a talented, imaginative, and motivated Teacher of the Deaf, who will support and develop our resourced provision for deaf students. The successful applicant will have experience and knowledge of how to raise the attainment of deaf students as well as experience of working in partnership with mainstream teachers.

Working within this exciting organisation, you will be a practitioner who is passionate about the entitlement of every young person to an inspiring education. The successful candidate will have an unwavering belief in the potential of every pupil to succeed and have a creative approach to school.
