Full Job Description

Support site Quality Manager with administration, information and auditing against the Quality Management System and Customer codes of practice.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage the site document control system.
· Raise, issue and coordinate action for Supplier Non-conformances. Coordinating with the Group Raw Manager/Technologist.
· Be the key customer contact in relation to specifications/artwork/labelling and associated technical queries on site.
· Support in customer complaint & investigations liaise with the relevant parties.
· Provide information for periodic KPI reports.
· Coach the teams in food safety and quality standards and requirements
· Ensure non-conforming finished product is not released to customer and investigations are completed and closed out in accordance to QMS.
· Manage product sample requests, microbiological, nutritional and chemical testing samples and collections.
· Carry out internal audits in accordance with the agreed site schedule.
· Train updated quality system procedures and product information to relevant teams.
· Conduct traceability audits and present internally and to customers when required; to include forward, backward, and mass balance · Deputise for Site Quality Manager.
KPI's:
· Documentation up to date on logs and issued to relevant departments for use
· Customer requirements met; questionnaires, required information, queries answered in a timely manner
· Customer complaints handled effectively and in a timely manner.
· Information required for KPI reports provided on time
· Product analytical sampling completed to plan
· Non-conformances completion with agreed corrective and preventive actions, root cause and within agreed timescales
· Completing traceability and internal audits in accordance with the site schedule

· good written and verbal communication skills
· Influencing and expectation management skills
· BSc or above professional qualification in Food Safety or similar field (Desirable)
· 3+ years food manufacturing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Level 3 HACCP (Desirable)
· Internal Audit Training
· Proficient in Microsoft packages
