Full Job Description

Leicestershire county council have an exciting opportunity for a 12 month fixed term role to support development of assurance processes and service improvements to help improve outcomes for people who use our adult social care services. The role is based within the Adults and Communities Strategy and Planning team and will play a key role in helping to prepare for Care Quality Commission Assurance assessments., We are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments. Therefore, wherever possible, we will consider working arrangements that suit an individual's personal circumstances whilst still meeting the needs of the Council. This role will suit an individual passionate about showing how our services make a difference and who has experience in supporting service improvement and able to demonstrate that our services are helping to improve outcomes for residents by establishing and applying the delivery of project management quality standards within adult social care.,

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Project or change management experience
  • A good understanding of performance management, continuous improvement, quality assurance and service improvement tools
  • The ability to analyse and interpret quantitative or qualitative data and presenting findings to a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence
  • Excellent communication skills to present information both written and verbal to a range of audiences.
  • The ability to promote and nurture a proactive, continuous improvement culture
