Quality Auditor

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join or Grimsby Recipe Dish site who are the sole supplier of fresh and chilled 'best in class' soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose-built site currently employs around 180 people, whilst turning over £30 million. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and 'no two days the same' environment; making it a great place to work.

As a member of the Technical team, the main aspect of your role is to assist in the maintenance & monitoring of process & food safety systems on the site. Communication will be one of your many skills as you are pivotal in the interaction between Operations, Technical and Hygiene, this ensures that Production is run safely, efficiently and effectively.

More about the role:

· Ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed on time

· Ensure CCP monitoring equipment is working effectively.

· Ensuring GMP standards within manufacturing areas are upheld

· Life checks on factory components

· Microbiological sampling and swabbing

· Daily Taste Panels and finished product assessment before release.

· Ensure all relevant internal audits are complete i.e. glass checks, hygiene audits, start-ups etc.

· Experience of the food industry

· Understanding of HACCP

· Basic Food Hygiene

· Experience of auditing
