If you share our values and are proud of a job well done, collaborative in working well with others and ambitious to make things better, then have a read of what we have on offer., Reporting directly to the Technical & Quality Manager, the successful Quality Control Technician will focus on all quality aspects for the manufacture and production of concrete Aircrete blocks at a site-based level, this role is there to provide support to the site operational team as well as the central Quality Management with the day-to-day QA/QC testing associated to Aircrete block manufacture.

  • Undertake testing to ensure that raw materials comply with the target specifications
  • Ensure that employees working in production are aware of the quality requirements, capable of controlling the process and responsible for managing their own quality standards.
  • Undertake strengths and density tests to ensure compliance with relevant standards to ensure excellent customer service via quality.
  • Develop and monitor continuous improvement programs, aiming to reduce the number of defects and improve levels of quality.
  • Review of statistical data from the production lines to identify quality problems. To analyse the data and recommend changes to production processes or quality controls to eliminate the problems.

    Experience in concrete technology
  • A-Level chemistry - Desirable
  • IT Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Effectively communicate.
  • Driven to achieve & surpass quality results.
  • Have a desire to make improvements on site.
  • Capable and willing to undertake all fair and reasonable requests.
