Full Job Description
Lincolnshire has an excellent opportunity in Children's Services and is looking to recruit four outstanding Quality and Effectiveness Leads to join a new and exciting team within the Inclusion Service.
About the Role
The Quality and Effectiveness Team will be a dedicated and busy team providing support and supportive challenge to senior school leaders, ensuring the delivery of high quality and effective inclusive practice across Lincolnshire's mainstream schools.
The successful candidates will be responsible for working in partnership with senior school leaders, professional bodies and wider stakeholders to strengthen confidence in the ability of Lincolnshire's mainstream provision to effectively meet the additional needs of the majority of children and young people. The post holders will also be responsible for supporting and quality assuring Lincolnshire's mainstream Hub provisions within host mainstream schools.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with schools and partners agencies across the area to deliver the Local Authority's strategies in relation to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Inclusion.
We are looking for skilled communicators with good time management and an ability to respond to tight deadlines and high demand in a busy service area, alongside an understanding of national legislation and an awareness of local policies and procedures.
These positions will be working across the whole of Lincolnshire and therefore the ability to drive is essential.
A teaching qualification, such as Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
Significant post qualification experience and knowledge of working with families, children and young people with complex SEND.
The knowledge, skills and ability to work in partnership with senior school leaders to strengthen the quality of early intervention and the graduated approach so that pupils are able to flourish in their local mainstream schools.
The ability to effectively plan and deliver improved standards of inclusion and monitor their impact.
Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory duties and Local Authority procedures relating to SEND and Inclusion.
Excellent presentations and communication skills., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post., Disability Confident
