Full Job Description

Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partners with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad and Qatar., As our Quality Engineer, you'll work closely with the Quality Manager and the wider Landing Systems business, giving support and direction in building and maintaining our Quality Management Systems for people, processes and projects. You'll implement internal and supplier audit programmes, to help make sure that activity complies with regulations and purchase order requirements.

You'll support the development of our Safety Management System across the business, along with wider matters relating to maintaining quality systems and processes. You'll also assist Landing Systems' Management teams during internal and external audits.

We'll look to you to share your knowledge through coaching on quality tool usage, including PDCA and Root Cause analysis, as well as facilitating Human Factors training where needed.

You're an experienced Quality Engineer, having previously worked either in an aerospace AS9110 /AS 9100 environment, or something similarly process driven such as automotive. You'll have a working knowledge of aerospace regulations such as EASA Part 145, along with an industry recognised qualification in Internal Audit.

You're a confident communicator, comfortable working with a range of customers and internal teams to resolve issues through problem solving and root cause analysis. Any additional knowledge or experience with tools such as Kaizen and 5s is desirable, but not essential.

You're comfortable working at heights where needed, and are able to read and work from electrical drawings.
