Full Job Description
AWE is currently recruiting for Quality Engineers. We have a number of exciting opportunities across our Quality function, and we are looking for experienced Quality Engineers who have a background within any of the following disciplines;
- Production
- Science
- Engineering
- Manufacturing As a Quality Engineer you will deliver Quality technical assistance in support of AWE Programmes, applying Quality methods, tools and techniques. To deliver solutions that will maximise productivity, reliability, innovation, and quality to the business. - Support delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies and contributing to capability development.
- Attend design/technical/task reviews, defect reviews and stakeholder meetings as required to ensure Quality is considered at all stages.
- Effective stakeholder management, engaging others in order to complete the tasks.
- Identify and support opportunities for cost savings, efficiency and business improvement.
- The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
Proven track record of technical delivery and continuous improvement. - Technical awareness of product/domain.
- Following Company processes and ensuring Management System is kept up to date.
- Engineering aptitude.
- Problem solving skills.
- Analytical capability.
Package: Starting from £37,860 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience), 9-day working fortnight - meaning you get every other Friday off work, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave. - Market leading contributory pension scheme (we will pay between 9% and 13% of your pensionable pay depending on your contributions).
